Throw me the crown
When I watched Richard II with David Tennant in this role there was a scene in which the king complains what a burden the crown is and throws it away. The crown slid really close to the edge of the stage. I imagined it to slide and fly right into my hands. Even though it is just a play I would have gladly grabbed the crown, jumped on the stage declaring: If it pains you so much just give the crown to me 😉
I am the eldest sibling anyway but as second in line you would have less pressure. Nevertheless you could never be sure that you definetely won`t have to take the crown for instance the first in line could resign for love.
I take the burden. Just throw me the crown 😉
