Life is precious

Mindful Monday Musings

Big statue to amuse: 17: What a hen!

On a crisp cold but sunny Monday my thoughts were sent back in time…

On the bus were many elderly people and a cute little girl in welling boots today. She caught my eyes when she stretched her feet to reach the back of the next seat in front of her. Little feet in little wellington boots. Like Chekov in Star Trek I thought “I never was that young” (with Kirk answering: “You were younger”). We passed a funeral. The coffin decorated with plenty of flowers was carried from a church. Life is precious. Not only when you are young. Life is not just precious because it ends. Life is precious nevertheless but because life is precious it hurts that it ends.
