I love how Sheldon in Big Bang Theory insists on his spot on the sofa. Our niche is our place to recharge. Sofas are a good recharging place. I remember telling Marble that sofas are a very good thing. She was a homeless cat very fearfull of being in buildings but when she got her babies in our garden she became our cat/ we became her humans. It took a long while till she acccepted coming inside of the house and recharging on the sofa. She started with the one seat, then went to the 2 seater, then decided the 3 seater is just suitable. A bit like British people trying to climb their property ladder.
